Katelyn Gonsalves

My name is Katelyn Gonsalves and I am a junior at Roger Williams University. I am from Falmouth, Massachusetts and am studying Public Relations with a minor in Public and Professional Writing along with Sports Studies here in Bristol. I have a specific interest in media relations, where I can use my learned professional writing skills to share various stories and encourage public conversation. I also have an interest in community relations, where my skills also allow me to not only create, but also maintain authentic relationships with  my clients. I have done so already here at RWU through creating a PR campaign for our extension school in Providence. With some other group members, I helped connect Bristol campus students to Providence, where they can expand their learning abilities. I am passionate about being able to efficiently build and protect the image of any given client, and keeping a steady relationship with stakeholders as well.
